Stanley Zhou specializes in general banking, structured financing, property financing, financial regulation and compliance, financial institutions Internet-financing, financial lease and commercial factoring.

Stanley has extensive experience in banking and finance area and provides legal advices to domestic and international banks and other financial institutions in a variety of matters, including set-up, merger and acquisition of financial institutions, syndicated loans, property finance, cross-border RMB trade, pre-IPO finance, privatization finance and other cross-border transactions, and providing regulatory advices in relation to their business, operation and marketing activities in China. Stanley also advises borrowers and other corporate clients in their receiving various financial services from banks and other financial institutions, including borrowing, derivative transactions, structured products and wealth management. Stanley is very familiar with Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone, advising plenty of financial institutions and corporations in the FTZ on their cross-border transactions.

Stanley also has strong expertise in bank card industry, payment service institutions and payment business, pre-paid card and internet-financing.

Stanley is experienced in acting as a leading counsel in advising on large, complex cross-border transactions and is recognized for his excellent deal management skills.

In 2015 and 2016, Mr. Zhou has been continuously ranked as a “Leading Individual” in Banking & Finance by Chambers Asia-Pacific, in which a client's high praise has been quoted as “he really knows how clients operate, technically and is very strong and very user-friendly”. In addition, he has been named as one of the highly recommended lawyers in Banking & Finance by Legal 500 in its 2015 and 2016 Asia Pacific rankings. In 2016, Mr. Zhou has been named one of the Top 15 Rising Lawyers and Client Choice Top 20 Lawyers in China by Asian Legal Business (ALB).
