Katrina Parkyn

Katrina is an income tax and stamp duty specialist. While based on KWM’s Brisbane office, she routinely advises on transactions Australia-wide.

Katrina has a breadth of experience which spans from advising on routine tax queries to advising Government entities and major corporations on some of their most complex and novel transactions. She has particular experience in advising on the stamp duty aspects of projects that involve significant land and infrastructure assets and is described in Chambers Asia as 'someone who is able to reach solutions'.

A key strength that Katrina brings to transactions is her ability to bring together the legal and tax aspects of a transaction to ensure that documentation is drafted and transactions are implemented consistent with the tax strategy.
